Published: 28 February 2019

Congratulations to Nick Squire (MMus 2008), who recently won the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Classical for his work on Shostakovich: Symphonies Nos. 4 & 11 by Andris Nelsons and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. This win brings his Grammy count up to a total of four, as he was credited as a recording engineer on album which won Grammys for Best Orchestra Performance in 2015, 2016, and 2018.

When contacted about his recent accomplishment, Nick highlighted the importance of his studies at Schulich. "The faculty at McGill's Schulich School of Music has some of the best minds (and ears!) in the world. They and my fellow classmates, all of whom I consider great friends, helped shape me into who I am today and have had a huge impact on my career and recent success."
