92nd Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence | CPAC

March 6, 2024 | Vincent Rigby attended the 92nd Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence which is the largest and longest of its kind in Canada. The conference is an annual event held at the Chateau Laurier since 1932. 

The 2024 conference had many discussion topics, such as transatlantic security cooperation, foreign interference, and artificial intelligence. The speakers underscored Canada's need to address global threats despite public reluctance for an increase in military investment. They also highlighted the need for decisive prioritization and communication in tackling pressing security challenges.

Vincent moderated a panel at this conference, which had a focus on the current situation in Israel and Palestine. He spoke with Former National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Israel, Dr. Uzi Arad.
