The Subcommittee on Queer People is pleased to support 2SLGBTQIA+ members of the McGill University community through various events and activities.
Every year, the SQP co-hosts Launch of the Rainbow and Return of the Rainbow, and supports Queer History Month:
- Launch of the Rainbow, a lavender graduation/celebration ceremony for 2SLGBTQIA+ students graduating from McGill
- Return of the Rainbow, a homecoming event for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and alumni
- Queer History Month, a series of events and activities that celebrate and remember the histories of diverse 2SLGBTQIA+ communities
