Current research:
Dr. Vuong's research interests are in the development of new radiation targeted modalities for rectal cancer; Colo-rectal cancer screening program and early rectal cancer in a joint research program with the Psychosocial Oncology Service at the JGH. In addition, in collaboration with the Polytechnique School of Engineering at the University of Montreal, Dr. Vuong has been involved in the development of a targeted radio-sensitizer based on a nanorobotic delivery system using Mc-1 Magnetotactic Bacteria.
