What was your inspiration for pursuing Engineering?

I decided to study civil engineering because of its relevance in working towards more sustainable cities. More broadly, I chose engineering to strengthen my problem solving skills and because of the wide range of careers, which engineers can pursue.

Why is it important for women to be involved in Engineering?

Women are great engineers and so it’s important for us to be involved in engineering! Diversity is always beneficial to any organization or sector.

Why did you choose McGill?

I’m am a big city person, so part of the reason I chose McGill was because it’s located smack downtown along with its prestige. Little did I know that McGill has a warm and extremely active Engineering community that has significantly shaped my experience as a student here.
