What was your inspiration for pursuing Engineering?

My love for math, technology and problem solving inspired me to pursue a degree in software engineering. My father, an electrical engineer, inspired me from a very young age and got me interested in engineering when he taught me that I could channel my creativity into designing a solution to a problem.

Why is it important for women to be involved in Engineering?

Engineering is all about designing creative and innovative solutions to complex problems. Diversity is really important in engineering because it brings a fresh and unique perspective on a particular problem.

Why did you choose McGill?

My decision to come to McGill was made right after visiting the vibrant downtown campus during my last year of High School. I felt right at home at McGill and that feeling has lasted throughout my undergrad!
