Course Registration Form

Fall 2024 courses only.   Please complete ONE form per course.

To mark a course as extra, register for the course and then complete the Course Authorization Form.   

Students must use their McGill email address.

  • Students receiving the following error message(s): pre-requisite/co-requisite and/or Faculty/Program restriction.  This form opens May 29th, 2024 - 10am.  
  • Course/section is full:  Please note that we will not override lecture/labs/tutorials that are full at this time (error message reserved closed). Requests for full courses can only be submitted between September 3rd (10am)-September 10th (3pm). Students should continue to attempt to register as there is constant fluctuation in courses.

Please note that this form is only for course registration for the below mentioned courses and for the Fall 2024 term only and replaces the Course Authorization Form (emails will not be accepted).  Please allow a minimum of 4-5 working days for processing.  An email will be sent to each student informing them of the decision and how they can register if the request is approved.

Freshman Math and Science courses:

If you have received a grade of D in the pre-requisite course, an classschedule.engineering [at] mcgill.ca (email) will need to be sent to the Class Scheduler by the instructor of the course stating that they are confident you can pass the course despite a D grade in the pre-requisite. Students that received a grade of F must complete the course before moving forward.

  • FACC 250 (1) not open to Year 0 students - no exceptions.  (2)  American students with Direct Loans must register in 002 (3) Bioresource students must register for section 003
  • FACC 300 - For graduating students only; please complete this Course Authorization Form.
  • FACC 400 - Please review registration requirements at:  FACC 400 form.
  • FACC 500
  • FACC 501

If the course(s) you need to register for does not appear on this list, you need to complete the Course Authorization Form and submit to your Department.   

Students wanting to register for WCOM 206 or FACC 300 can complete this form ONLY if they are graduating in Fall 2024.  All other students will have to take the course in another term.
