Overcoming Writer's Block: How to Get Back to Writing F23

Being a graduate student involves a lot of writing, but writing is rarely a smooth and effortless process. Most of us have felt stuck and unable to write at some point, for various reasons. Whatever the cause, there are strategies that can keep your writing moving forward. This workshop is designed to help graduate students learn practical ways to make writing a regular habit. 

Learning Outcomes:
Participate in the workshop and you will:

Identify barriers to writing successfully and learn how to overcome them
Develop practical tools to get back to writing when you are feeling stuck
Learn strategies to help you develop productive habits of writing

Instructions:
Please come prepared by choosing a passage of your thesis you would like to work on.

Facilitator:
This workshop is led by Mariève Isabel. She has taught in many departments at McGill University (French Literature, McGill School of Environment, McGill Writing Centre). Mariève has been working for Graphos since 2014 as a facilitator and lecturer

The workshop will be offered online via Zoom on Wednesday, October 17, 2023,  3:00 to 4:30 pm. You will receive the zoom link and other details in a reminder email a few days before the workshop
