Parking and adapted transport

Adapted transport services

McGill's adapted transport service is a free service available to staff with impairements or injuries that compromise mobility. The adapted van will transport staff from one McGill building to another McGill building within downtown campus limits.  See Adapted mobility for important details.

Staff who require this service due to a temporary or permanent disability, must register with HR Pensions & Benefits.

  1. To register for this service, staff must provide supporting medical documentation. Please have your treating physician complete the Physician's Statement (request for reduced parking permit or adapted transport) located on the HR website under Forms.
  2. Submit your request - or questions - by email to benefits.hr [at] mcgill.ca or by fax to Pensions & Benefits at 514 398-6889. 
  3. Confirmation of registration will be sent to the staff member.  

 


Parking services

Parking may be available for staff who require parking for disability related reasons. Staff requiring parking must send their request in writing to HR Pensions & Benefits and include supporting medical documentation.
