MUNACA - New Collective Agreement

We are pleased to announce that the negotiation between McGill and MUNACA has now come to an end, after two years of discussions.

The appointment of an arbitrator by the Ministry of Labour allowed the parties to agree on more topics during the recent months of July and August, until she rendered a decision on the last item in dispute on September 9, 2022.

Therefore, we now have a first collective agreement for the new MUNACA bargaining unit that will, from now on, also cover the working conditions of the unionized M1s. This means that, as of September 9, 2022, they are no longer covered by the McGill Personnel Policies.

The parties will finalize French texts of the new contract and share the detailed terms with the community in the coming weeks.
