This is a 21-item scale designed based on a semi structured interview to assess deficit symptoms among patients with schizophrenia.

This measure is used to evaluate therapeutic interventions and describe the course of the illness. The measure is particularly useful for monitoring changes in deficit symptoms among patients in outpatient settings.
