This measure is designed for early detection of substance use related health risks and substance use disorders in primary health care, general medical care and other settings. It is suitable for adult population (between 18 and 60 years of age)

 

Two versions exist:

ASSIST (version 3.1): it is suitable for clinical use

ASSIST (version 3.0): it is suitable for research purposes.
