The Schedules for Clinical Assessment in Neuropsychiatry (SCAN) consists of a set of clinical assessment instruments to examine psychopathology.

The interview manual consists of three components: the tenth version of the Present State Examination (PSE-10.2), the Item Group Checklist, and the Clinical History Schedule. The PSE-10.2 semi-structured interview as the core of SCAN 2.1 consists of two parts: Part I contains the sections dealing with anxiety, mood, and other neurotic features, Part II mainly deals with psychotic and cognitive features.
