Participation: Entrance is by audition (see audition schedules). Previous singing experience and sightreading skills are an asset. This ensemble is open to music students, jazz majors having priority.
The McGill Jazz Choir (McGill Jazz Workshop MUEN 563) is a 30-voice choir accompanied by rhythm section. Songbook standards, contemporary works, and student compositions are performed by the ensemble in two concerts per year as well as McGill Sings.
