Génome Québec (GQ) is a key partner and Québec regional center of Genome Canada and is involved in all national competitions launched by Genome Canada. In addition, it launches its own calls for proposals to support genomics research specifically in the province of Québec. It is a pillar of its bioeconomy and contributes to province’s influence and its social and sustainable development.
Since its inception in 2000, Génome Québec has increasingly leveraged the Québec investment in the genomics strategic areas , such as health, agrifood, forestry and the environment.
