Parking for weddings at the Birks Heritage Chapel
Parking is available for guests in the following areas near the Birks Heritage Chapel:
- Main Campus, North side (entrance is located at the intersection of University and Milton streets): 44 spaces (includes 4 spaces designated for persons with disabilities).
- FDA Courtyard (entrance lane is located between 3420 and 3450 University): 24 spaces.
- Sport Complex/Stadium Lot (entrance is just north of The Neuro - 3801 University): 135 spaces (This lot is not available on Montreal Alouettes football game dates and the day before for the setup of concessions)

Unless prior arrangements are made, guests arriving to park will be charged. Please visit the visitor parking page for rates and methods of payment.
Parking is not guaranteed for wedding guests. If there is a special event taking place at the same time as the wedding, guests may not be able to park near the Birks Heritage Chapel. Wedding planners can arrange to pay for guests' parking by completing the wedding parking webform. The rate is $11.00 (taxes included) per parking space.
Parking for weddings at Thomson House
Parking is available for guests in the following areas near Thomson House:
- Powell East Lot (entrance is just north of 3610 McTavish): 19 spaces. **Parking must be paid for in advance**
- Powell West Lot (entrance is from Peel Street, just north of Av. du Docteur-Penfield): 20 spaces. **Parking must be paid for in advance**

Parking in Powell East and West is restricted to permit holders only. Weekend day parking passes can be purchased ahead of time at the rate of $11.00 (taxes included) each. The pass must be hung on the rearview mirror of the vehicle while it's parked. If there is a special event taking place at the same time as the wedding, guests may not be able to park near Thomson House. Please call or parking.services [at] mcgill.ca (email) Parking & Transportation Services to inquire about special events.
