Student Affairs Office (SAO)

Undergraduate Students

As part of the McGill Engineering Student Centre (MESC), the Student Affairs Office (SAO) serves all undergraduate students in the Faculty of Engineering, including the School of Architecture. Our SAO office is a one-stop-shop for advising, peer tutoring, scholarships and awards, exchange and study abroad programs, counselling, orientation, administrative questions, and many other student services. The office is responsible for administering policies on student records, student assessment, and implementing the accreditation process for programs. Students are encouraged to contact MESC in all matters related to their student experience. MESC is also a primary resource for information on other services within the Faculty and across the University.
