Location

Joliette is located 80 km Northwest of Montreal. The Hôpital régional de Lanaudière is part of the Centre intégré de santé et des services sociaux de Lanaudière.

Type of Lodging

Lodging is provided by the establishment and is located at a short walking distance from the hospital.

Trainees are lodged in a "Shared Apartment". Trainees have a private room and share common gender-neutral areas (bathroom, kitchen, living room).

Trainees must book their lodging 3 weeks prior to the rotation by contacting the site.

Lodging can be available the evening before the first day of the rotation.

Trainees are expected at the Hospital at 8:30 am on the first day of their rotation.
 

► Note: It is important that everyone does their share to keep all common areas clean and safe at any time.

Transportation

Trainees can travel to the site by bus or car. 

Each trainee receives a stipend to help pay for transportation costs.

Trainees must make their own travel arrangements.

NOTE: For all students making their own arrangements. All students will be required to attend a mandatory Progress Test at the end of each block. PLEASE do not make any travel arrangements before confirming the exact date of your test.

The bus company that serves Joliette is CRTL (horaire Circuit 50). The departure point is the Radisson bus terminus located at Radisson metro station.
