Description
The aorta (A) originates in the right ventricle (R) and the pulmonary artery (P) in the left ventricle (L). A blue rod is seen in a widely patent ductus arteriosus; a red rod is present in the right pulmonary artery. The atrial septal defect is not seen.
Comment
The infant was cyanotic and died five days after birth.
