Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.) - Minor Music Theory (18 Credits)
Admission Requirements
- Open to all undergraduates enrolled in a bachelor program, except those in a Bachelor of Music Theory major
- Completion of minimum two semesters at McGill
- Must have knowledge of the prerequisites for the required courses for the minor
- Should have previous knowledge and experience in music theory
- Should have taken studies in keyboard, vocal or instrument practical studies
- Minimum CGPA 3.0
Application
Interested students must submit a music theory minor application between December 1 and February 15.
Application result is communicated by mid-March.
Successful applicants will have the minor added to their records as of early June after they have registered for at least one course in the following fall semester.
