If you are a staff member who has had a parking permit for any location on the downtown campus within the past year, do not fill out this form and instead send an parking.services [at] mcgill.ca (email) to request a new permit. The renewal or issuance of a new permit is not guaranteed and will depend on your situation.
If you are a student who had parking permit for the McIntyre garage for the Winter 2023 term, please check this page again during the course of the summer of 2024 for renewal instructions.
If you are a staff member or student and the above situations do not apply, please complete and submit this form to find out whether you are eligible to purchase a permit. An email regarding your eligibility will be sent to you within 5 business days.
Permits may be issued to students or staff members who satisfy at least one of the following criteria:
- living in an area where public transit is limited
- having at least one child under the age of 5 attending daycare
- pregnancy
- Iiving in an undergraduate residence (students only)
- needing parking due to an extenuating circumstance
