From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Federico Melani obtained an MD degree (2004) and a board certification in Clinical Neurophysiology (2008) at the University of Florence in Italy, developing interest onclinical management of patients with drug resistance epilepsy. From April 2009 he is working at thePediatric Neurological Unit, A. Meyer Children’s Hospital (Florence), focusing on pre-surgical evaluation of pediatric patients with pharmacoresistant epilepsy.

In August 2011 he joined the Montreal Neurological Institute for a postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Jean Gotman, focusing his main research on High Frequency Oscillations in Stereo and surface-EEG.
